Created in 2019, this work goes back to my time studying civil engineering in Strasbourg.

This painting came out of a time when love, longing and reality didn't quite fit together.

Some relationships exist in a strange space — real enough to change you, but without a place you can comfortably give them in the rest of your life.

Eventually, I had to let something go. Not because it wasn't real, but because it couldn't become what I needed it to be.

I remember that time with more tenderness than regret.

Some things are better left partly unexplained.
